GOBLET and its role in Bioinformatics Learning, Education & Training
Abstract
GOBLET is a not-for-profit Foundation, established in 2012 to harmonise bioinformatics training activities worldwide: by the end of 2017, it had 26 organisational members. Its mission is to cultivate global bioinformatics trainer communities, set standards, share best practices, & provide high-quality resources to support learning, education & training: the vision, to unite, inspire & equip bioinformatics trainers worldwide. Here we review some of GOBLET’s work in supporting bioinformatics learning, education & training.
