Required field in Contributor form

I am having trouble confirming people who request Contributor accounts. It looks like the fields “Topic” and “Audience” are required but I don’t see theses fields anywhere in a person’s record. Where is the information stored for those fields?

It seems a Drupal internal problem (required fields in the registration form doesn’t seem to be mandatory, and because of that, new users don’t need to fill them).
I’m looking for one solution to this error.
