About the excessive affiliations, there is a clarification to do.
‘Committee membership’ area must not show affiliations, but only the Committees in which user is. When that area shows affiliations, is because there is an internal error that shows these different things mixed, and I’m fixing it as soon as I realise about it.
This was your case, and I’ve fixed it now.
Affiliations are only properly showed in the ‘affiliations’ area, to the right of the user’s photo.
If one user want to remove one of his affiliations, he only has to click over it in his profile, and then click over ‘Unsubscribe from group’ in the affiliation’s page.This requirement has been implemented with the new Document content type, in such way that one member of a committee can create a Document in which he can upload private content or include URLs.

The email’s list is updated but we cannot allow people to sign up freely in all@mygoblet.org . Because of that, we manage these subscriptions, and as an aid we have created a new view (only for administrators) with the emails of all members and contributors that have to be into that list:
