The 14th GOBLET Annual General Meeting (AGM 2025) was held on 12 December 2025, alongside iCOBLET 2025, with participation from GOBLET members.

The AGM included reports from the Executive Board covering GOBLET’s mission and activities, financial status, communications and outreach, and member engagement. Key discussions addressed financial sustainability and opportunities to strengthen collaboration with partner organisations.

Members also discussed the future of GOBLET’s online platforms and training-related activities, with emphasis on improving sustainability, clarity of scope, and integration with established external resources.

The meeting concluded with consideration of future events, including potential approaches to hosting the AGM in 2026, and agreement on next steps to support GOBLET’s continued role in advancing global bioinformatics education and training.
