It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the GOBLET Annual General Meeting (AGM 2024), which will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, as part of the iCOBLET2024 event (https://www.udst.edu.qa/icoblet2024).

We have prepared an extensive iCOBLET2024 program, including keynote talks, an expert panel, short talks, workshops, eduthon, and the AGM.

There is a nominal commitment fee for those attending iCOBLET2024 (approx. USD 49.99), but this does not apply to those attending just the AGM. As such, we have created a separate registration form for those attending the AGM 2024 only: https://forms.gle/NPPX9dgYurq8cav3A

GOBLET AGM 2024

The AGM will take place on Thursday, 21 November 2024 from 12:00 – 14:00 CET. It will be in hybrid mode and we hope to see as many of you as possible in person in Doha, Qatar!

We will publish the full AGM agenda soon, but the topics we want to discuss with you are:

• Executive Board reports (activities, PRO, financial)

• Topical discussions about the activities, including both what we have done and what we want to do in the coming year (high school-related activities, guides, trainer resources page, Education Summit, collaboration with ISCB, GOBLET website, membership model, etc.). We also invite you to submit your proposal for discussion topics via the registration form or directly to the Executive Board members via info@mygoblet.org

• A discussion with you as members about the governance structure of GOBLET, given the recent appointment of the new executive board.

• We are also looking for bids to host the AGM 2025. Please let us know if your organization is interested, in which case we can send further details about the nomination procedure.
