The Global Organisation for Bioinformatics Learning, Education and Training (GOBLET) is pleased to announce that the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on 30 September 2026, from 16:00 to 17:30 IST (UTC +5:30) in a hybrid format.

This year’s AGM, as part of the 3rd International Colloquium on Bioinformatics Learning, Education, and Training (iCOBLET2026), will be co-located with the Indian Conference on Bioinformatics (INBIX 2026) and the Global Bioinformatics Education Summit (GBES 2026) to be held at SAL Education, Ahmedabad, India (https://bioclues.org/events/inbix/). 

This co-location will bring together GOBLET members, the wider international bioinformatics education community, and the bioinformatics community in India. 

Hosting the AGM alongside these major international events provides an excellent opportunity for GOBLET to showcase its activities, better align with the local and global community needs,  and invite participants to contribute to its activities and shape the future direction of the organisation.

Members are warmly encouraged to attend, participate in the discussions, and contribute their ideas.
