The Global Organisation for Bioinformatics Learning, Education and Training (GOBLET) is delighted to announce iCOBLET 2026, the International Conference on Bioinformatics Learning, Education and Training, taking place 28 September – 1 October 2026 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Recognised as GOBLET’s flagship conference, iCOBLET brings together educators, trainers, researchers, students, industry professionals, and community leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, share best practices, and shape the future of bioinformatics education and training.

This year’s conference is co-located with the International Network for Bioinformatics (INBIX) Conference and the Global Bioinformatics Education Summit (GBES 2026), creating a unique international forum that bridges research, education, training, and capacity building. The co-location of these events offers participants exceptional opportunities to engage with diverse communities, establish new collaborations, and explore emerging developments in bioinformatics and computational biology.

The scientific programme will feature keynote lectures, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and networking activities covering a broad range of topics in bioinformatics, computational biology, artificial intelligence, data science, and life science education. As always, iCOBLET will place a strong emphasis on innovative teaching approaches, curriculum development, open educational resources, trainer development, and building sustainable global collaborations.

Whether you are an experienced educator, an early-career researcher, a student, or an industry professional, iCOBLET 2026 provides an excellent opportunity to connect with the international bioinformatics community and contribute to advancing education and training worldwide.

Mark your calendars and join us in Ahmedabad – or online – for four inspiring days of learning, collaboration, and community building.

Further information on registration, abstract submission, programme details, and keynote speakers will be announced in the coming months. We look forward to welcoming you to iCOBLET 2026!
