Terri Attwood

  I am Professor of Bioinformatics at the University of Manchester, where my work has focused on various database and bioinformatics software development projects, often in collaboration with major EU consortia. I'm currently involved in ‘crowd-sourcing’ project, Lazarus and EU project EXCELERATE. I’m Bioinformatics Lead for ELIXIR-UK, and currently serve both on the ISB's Executive Board and on the ISCB's Board of Directors; as outgoing Chair, I also sit on the Interim Executive Board of EMBnet, the Global Bioinformatics Network. Together with colleagues from these and other organisations, I helped create GOBLET, of which I’m currently the Chair.
